From the museums brochure: An exhibition like never before.
For the first time, we are bringing the work of some of the most influential fiber artists of our time —quilt artists, weavers, embroiderers and mixed media artists—together into a singular exhibition.
An historic moment.
These are artists whose work has innovated and invigorated the contemporary fiber arts movement and whose work will be a source of inspiration for the next generation of fiber artists.
An important mission.
By presenting the range of fiber arts in a single exhibition, we hope to inspire an ongoing dialog that spawns fresh ideas and ongoing collaboration
